William Hall, son of Anson Crandall Hall and Hannah Sackett, was born in New York StateG in about 1854.
     In 1860 William was living in Ward, Allegany County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Anson and Hannah, and was recorded in the census as William Hall, aged six and born in New York State.1
     In 1870 he was living in WardG in the household of his parents Anson and Hannah, and was recorded as Willie Hall, aged 15.2
