Franklin Sackett Bagg, son of Justin Bagg and Frances "Fanny" Sacket, was born in West Springfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 9 February 1825.1 He married in SpringfieldG on 11 June 1872, E Louise Ashley.2 Louise was born in West SpringfieldG in about 1835.3
     In 1850 Franklin was living in West SpringfieldG in the household of his parents Justin and Frances, and was recorded in the census as Franklin S Bagg, a farmer, aged 24.4
