George W Sacket, son of Moses Sacket and Abby Ann Elms, was born in Boston, Suffolk County, MassachusettsG, in about 1860.
     In 1865 George was living in ChesterG in the household of Phebe Snow, 67, a widow, and was recorded in the census as George W Sackett, aged five and born in Boston. He was living with Elizabeth Sackett, a servant, aged 18, assumed to be his sister.1
     In 1870 he was living in ChesterG in the household of Phebe Snow, 71, and was recorded as George Sackett, aged ten. He was living with his half-sister Elizabeth and brother-in-law Charles Bishop.2
     In 1880 he was living in Blandford, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, in the household of Samuel Bartholomew, a farmer, and was recorded as George Sackett, a farm laborer, age 19.3
