Elizabeth Permelia Sacket, daughter of Moses Sacket and Helen P Sprague, was born in Chester, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 25 November 1846.1,2 She died aged 71 in Easthampton, Hampshire County, MassachusettsG, on 12 January 19183,4 and was buried at Bridge Street Cemetery, Northampton, Hampshire CountyG.5 She married in EasthamptonG on 6 November 1867, Charles Bishop, son of Arnold Bishop and Sarah Packard.6,7,8,9 Charles was born in Belchertown, Hampshire CountyG, in about 1837.10,11 He died aged 45 on 18 October 1882 and was buried at Bridge Street CemeteryG.5
     In 1855 Elizabeth was living in BostonG in the household of her father Moses and stepmother Abby, and was recorded in the census as Elizabeth P Sackett, aged eight and born in Massachusetts.12
     In 1860 she was living in BostonG in the household of her father Moses and stepmother Abby, and was recorded as Elizabeth Sackett, aged 14 and born in Boston.13
     In 1865 she was living in ChesterG in the household of Phebe Snow, 67, a widow, and was recorded as Elizabeth Sackett, a servant, aged 18 and born in Chester. Elizabeth's half-brother George, aged five, was living with her.14
     In 1870 she was living in ChesterG and was recorded as Elizabeth Bishop, aged 23. She was living with her husband Charles, 33, a farm laborer, in the household of Phebe Snow, 71. Elizabeth's half-brother George Sackett, aged ten, was living with them.15
     In 1880 she was living in ChesterG in the household of her husband Charles Bishop, 43, and was recorded as Elizabeth Bishop, aged 33.16
     In 1900 she was living at Union Street, EasthamptonG, and was recorded as Elizabeth Bishop, a finisher (suspender), a widow, aged 52.17
     In 1910 she was living at Union Street, EasthamptonG, in the household of Lora Brizzer, 37, a stitcher in a suspender mill, and was recorded as Elizabeth P Bishop, a cutter in a suspender mill, a widow, aged 66.18
