Sarah "Sally" Sackett, daughter of Eli Sackett and Sarah ___, was born on 24 September 1784.1,2 She died aged 79 in North Haven, New Haven County, ConnecticutG, on 10 March 18641,3,4 and was buried at New Center Cemetery, North HavenG.5,6 She had a child, Jane Sackett Andrews, born in North Haven on 5 December 1808.1 She married in Wallingford, New Haven CountyG, on 15 October 1815, Captain Leonard Ives, son of Dan Ives and Mary Baldwin.1,7 Leonard was born on 5 January 1785.8 He died aged 46 on 1 March 1831.8
     In 1850 Sarah was living in North HavenG and was recorded in the census as Sarah Ives, aged 65 and born in Connecticut. The next-door farm was occupied by her nephew Joseph Sackett and her brother John Sackett's farm was nearby.9
