Lawrence Vernon Sackett, son of Lawrence Melvin Sackett and Nettie Elizabeth Shepherd, was born in MichiganG on 11 April 1915.1 He died aged 75 at Beaver Dam, Dodge County, WisconsinG, on 22 August 19902,3 and was buried at Forest Home Cemetery, Townsend, Oconto County, WisconsinG.4 He married first in about 1936, Isabell Elizabeth Senso, daughter of John Senso and Alma Senso.5 Isabell was born on 15 August 1913.1 She died aged 91 in Beaver DamG on 14 March 20056,7 and was buried at Highland Memory Gardens, Trenton, Dodge County, WisconsinG.4 He married second Mabel E ___. Mabel was born on 12 January 1911.1,4 She died aged 79 in Lincoln County, WisconsinG, on 9 April 19908,9,10 and was buried at Forest Home Cemetery, TownsendG.4
In 1920 Lawrence was living at Elm Street, Townsend, Oconto CountyG, in the household of his parents Lawrence and Nettie, and was recorded in the census as Lorence Sackett, aged four years seven months and born in Michigan.11
In 1930 he was living at Forest Avenue, TownsendG, in the household of his parents Lawrence and Nettie, and was recorded as Lawrence V Sackett, aged 15.12
Lawrence completed a World War II draft registration card on 16 October 1940. He was aged 25 and was employed at the Weyenberg Shoe Manufacturing Company. He was living at 208 Washington Street, Beaver DamG, with his wife Isabell.13

Lawrence V. Sackett
Lawrence V. Sackett Sr., 75, W4490 Pope Rd., Merrill, Wis., died on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 1990, at the Clearview Nursing Home, Juneau.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Summinski Funeral Home, Waubeno, Wis., with the Rev. Steven Blummer officiating. Burial will be in Townsend, Wis.
Mr. Sackett was born on April 11, 1915, in Battle Creek, Mich., the son of Melvin L. and Nettie (Shepard) Sackett.
Survivors include three sons, Lawrence Jr. (Eunice) Sackett and Robert Sackett, both of Beaver Dam, Richard (Cathy) Sackett, Menomonee Falls, Wis; four brothers, Rowland (Delia), Townsend, Wis., Russell (Edna), Newberg, Wis., Gordon (Mae), Tomahawk, Wis., Robert (Vivian), Beaver Dam; two sisters, Norine (Charles) Ross, Lapine, Ore., Helen (Michael) Wall, Blackwell, Wis; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mabel, in April of 1990.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday at the Summinski Funeral Home, Waubeno.
