Gertrude Sackett, daughter of William Sackett and Gertrude Meserole, was born in Long Island, Queens County, New York StateG, in about 1827. She died aged 23 in Tranquility, Morris County, New JerseyG, on 24 August 1850.1,2 She was unmarried. Although not proved, there is good circumstantial evidence that Jeremiah V Sackett and Abram M Sackett were brothers of Gertrude's.
