James Daniel "Jim" Sackett

James Daniel "Jim" Sackett, son of Clarence Henry Sackett and Edna May Bosley, was born in Clearwater, Sedgwick County, Kansas^G, on 17 February 1897.¹ He died aged 84 in Pampa, Gray County, Texas^G, on 30 March 1981.¹ He married first in about 1918, Elsie L Arnold.¹ Elsie was born in Oklahoma^G on 18 February 1900.¹ She died aged 19 on 11 February 1920.¹ He married second in about 1922, Myrtle Vera Murdy.¹ Myrtle was born in Oklahoma^G on 16 June 1902.¹ She died aged 28 on 27 March 1931.¹ He married third in about 1933, Lucy Arnett Burch.¹ Lucy was born in Rochester, Haskell County, Texas^G, on 28 October 1908.¹ She died aged 66 in Pampa, Gray County, Texas^G, on 20 June 1975.¹
     In 1950 James was living at Wheeler Highway, Gray County, Texas^G, and was recorded in the census as James D Sackett Sr, yard boss at a retail lumber company, head of household, aged 53 and born in Kansas. Living with him were his wife Lucy, 41, and their children, Floyd, 15, Paul, 13, Daniel, 12, Edna, 10, and Charley, aged six.²
