Penelope Arnold, daughter of John Arnold and Elizabeth Sackett, was baptized at Great Warley, EssexG, on 23 June 1760.1 She died aged 63 in Greenwich, KentG, on 23 August 1823 and was buried at Romford, EssexG.3 She married first in Great Warley, EssexG, on 8 April 1777, Edward Thomas Carder.2 Edward was born in 1751 and died in 1802.2 She married second in Great WarleyG on 13 December 1802, Richard Newton.2 He died in 1807.2 She married third in Brighton, SussexG, on 6 October 1815, Samuel Hardman.2 Samuel was born in about 1778 and died in 1855.2
Edward Carder was a Romford brewer. On 6 September 1792, he stood surety for Elizabeth's cousin John Sackett as licensee of the Fox & Hounds public house at South Street, RomfordG.4
