Sherman L Sackett, son of Salmon/Solomon Dunham Sackett and Marion E Wright, was born in OhioG in about 1845.1
     In 1850 Sherman was living in Ruggles, Ashland County, OhioG, in the household of his parents Solomon and Marion, and was recorded in the census as Sherman L Sackett, aged five and born in Ohio.2
     In 1860 he was living in Union, Fulton County, IllinoisG, in the household of his parents Solomon and Marion, and was recorded as Sherman Sackett, aged 15.3
