Willard Nathan Sackett, son of Mert Sellwyn Sackett and Cora Lulu Franklin, was born at Pleasant Hill, Pike County, IllinoisG, on 26 June 1925.1,2,3 He died aged 92 at Union Church, Racine County, WisconsinG, on 17 March 2018 and was buried at Elmwood Township Cemetery, Peoria County, IllinoisG.2 He married in Winchester, Scott County, IllinoisG, on 12 April 1952, Betty M Winder.3
     In 1930 Willard was living in New Salem, Pike County, IllinoisG, in the household of his parents Mert and Cora, and was recorded in the census as Willard W Sackett, aged four and born in Illinois.4
     Willard served in the US Army. He was discharged in 1947 after a tour of duty at Honshu, Japan.3
