Hattie Louisa Sackett, daughter of Mert Sellwyn Sackett and Cora Lulu Franklin, was born in Pleasant Hill, Pike County, IllinoisG, on 25 December 1922.1,2 She died aged 38 in Shelby County, MissouriG, on 19 October 1961 and was buried at Maplewood Cemetery, Clarence, Shelby CountyG.2 She married Arthur N Taylor. Arthur was born on 16 March 1909.2 He died aged 63 on 22 December 1972 and was buried at Maplewood Cemetery, ClarenceG.2
     In 1930 Hattie was living in New Salem, Pike County, IllinoisG, in the household of her parents Mert and Cora, and was recorded in the census as Hattie L Sackett, aged seven and born in Illinois.3
