Edward Albert Applegate, son of Albert Edward Applegate and Gladys May Sackett, was born in Newark, Essex County, New JerseyG, on 26 November 1922.1,2 He died aged 77 in Livingston, Essex County, New JerseyG, on 1 September 2010.2 He married Charlotte Mina George.2
     In 1930 Edward was living at Elmwood Avenue, East Orange, Essex County, New JerseyG, in the household of his parents Albert and Gladys, and was recorded in the census as Edward A Applegate, aged seven and born in New Jersey.3
