Harold "Hal" Sackett, son of Myer Sacofsky/Sackett and Rebecca H Robinson, was born in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG, on 14 October 1914.1 He died aged 88 in Northridge, Los Angeles County, CaliforniaG, on 9 June 2003.1,2 He married in about 1938, Doris Frances ___. Doris was born in ConnecticutG on 27 December 1914.3,4 She died aged 96 in Calabasas, Los Angeles County, CaliforniaG, on 30 September 2011.5
In 1920 Harold was living at James Street, BridgeportG, in the household of his parents Myer and Rebecca, and was recorded in the census as Harold Sackett, aged four and born in Connecticut.6
In 1930 he was living at Stratford Avenue, BridgeportG, in the household of his parents Myer and Rebecca, and was recorded as Harold Sackett, aged 14.7
Harold was listed in the Bridgeport directories of 1934 and 1936. He was a tailor, living at 954 Stratford Avenue, BridgeportG.8
Harold registered for the young men's draft during World War II on 16 October 1940, naming his wife Doris as next of kin. He was working at Consolidated Ashcroft Hancock.9
In 1941 Harold and Doris were living at 176 Court, BridgeportG. He was a machinist at CP Corporation.10
