Bernard Sackett, son of Myer Sacofsky/Sackett and Rebecca H Robinson, was born in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG, on 30 July 1909.1 He died aged 28 on 18 January 1938 and was buried at the Jewish Cemetery (Agudas Achim), Fairfield, ConnecticutG.2
     In 1910 Bernard was living at 44 Highland Avenue, Bridgeport, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG, in the household of his parents Myer and Rebecca, and was recorded in the census as Bernard Sackett, aged eight months and born in Connecticut.3
     In 1920 he was living at James Street, BridgeportG, in the household of his parents Myer and Rebecca, and was recorded as Bernard Sackett, aged eleven.4
     In 1930 he was living at Stratford Avenue, BridgeportG, in the household of his parents Myer and Rebecca, and was recorded as Bernard Sackett, aged 21.5
     Bernard was listed in the 1936 Bridgeport City Directory, living at 954 Stratford Avenue, BridgeportG, with his parents Myer and Rebecca.6

  1. Father's naturalization papers state Bernard's date of birth 30 Jul 1909. 1910 census (Apr 1910) gives age as 8 months. Birth date 30 Jul 1910 on burial record is therefore in error.
