Irving Leonard Sackett, son of Harry Sacofsky/Sackett and Gussie Cohen, was born in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG, on 24 June 1923.1,2 He died aged 69 in Brooklyn, New York CityG, on 7 February 1993.3,4
     In 1930 Irving was living at 48th Avenue, Queens County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Harry and Gussie, and was recorded in the census as Irving Sackett, aged six and born in New York.5
     In 1940 he was living at 48th Avenue, Queens County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Harry and Gussie, and was recorded as Irving Sackett, aged 16.6
     Irving served in the US Army during World War II from 4 January 1943 to 4 November 1945.7
