Charlott Hammond, daughter of Frederick Hammond and Electa Sackett, was born in Rutland, Rutland County, VermontG, on 30 January 1823.1,2 She died aged 86 at home in 1408 Penna Avenue West, Warren, Warren County, PennsylvaniaG, on 10 October 1909 and was buried at Youngsville Cemetery, Youngsville, Warren CountyG, on 12 October 1909.3 She married in about 1838, Reuben Cady. Reuben was born in VermontG in about 1816.1
     In 1850 Charlott was living in Deerfield, Warren County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of her parents Frederick and Electa, and was recorded in the census as Charlott Cady, aged 28 and born in Vermont. She was living with her husband Reuben, 34, a farmer, and their children, Calista, 10, Hubert, 8, and Scott, aged three.4
