Franklin G Hammond JP, son of Frederick Hammond and Electa Sackett, was born in Cattaraugus County, New York StateG, on 9 April 1838.1,2 He died aged 75 in Pittsfield, Warren County, PennsylvaniaG, on 22 March 1914 and was buried at Riverside Cemetery, PittsfieldG, on 25 March 1914.3
     In 1850 Franklin was living in Deerfield, Warren County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents Frederick and Electa, and was recorded in the census as Franklin Hammond, aged eleven and born in New York.4
