Dorothy E Sackett, daughter of Dwight Putman Sackett and Mary Jane Carty, was born in ColoradoG on 8 October 1903.1,2 She died aged 78 on 18 February 19823 and was buried at Old Sunnyside Cemetery, Sunnyside, Yakima County, Washington StateG.4 She married in SunnysideG on 6 January 1926, Oliver A Bond, a farmer, son of W E Bond and Florence E Burt.5 Oliver was born in MichiganG on 2 August 1893.1,2,6 He died aged 93 on 13 December 1986 and was buried at Old Sunnyside CemeteryG.2
In 1910 Dorothy was living at State Street, Salt Lake City, UtahG, in the household of her parents Dwight and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Dorothy Sackett, aged seven and born in Colorado.7
In 1920 she was living at West Taylor Avenue, Salt Lake CityG, in the household of her parents Dwight and Mary, and was recorded as Dorothy Sacket, aged 16.8
In 1930 she was living in Sunnyside, Yakima County, Washington StateG, in the household of her husband Oliver, 36, a farmer, and was recorded as Dorothy E Bond, aged 26. They owned their home. Living with them were their children, Oliver Jr, aged two, and Mary, aged under one.9
