Valentine Austen, son of Valentine Austen and Ellen Sackett, was baptized at Buckland near Dover, KentG, on 12 December 1616.1 He died aged about 58 in Tilmanstone, KentG, and was buried there on 11 July 1675.2
Valentine, named as youngest son, was left £50 at 21 in his father Valentine's will made in Tilmanstone, Kent, in 1633.3
Valentine would have been one of Ellen's six unnamed children each left £6 in the will of their uncle Robert Sackett made at St John in ThanetG on 16 February 1660 and proved on 25 March 1664.
Valentine was left the residue of the estate, after bequests to his sisters, of his brother Leonard in his will made at Tilmanstone, KentG, on 17 August 1670. He was also appointed executor.4
