Sherman Wade, son of William Edwin Wade and Mary Corbett, was born in WisconsinG in December 1895.1
     Sherman was named in his great-grandfather Orsemus's will. He was to inherit his estate, after nineteen years, equally with Orsemus's other great-grandchildren, his grandchildren, and his nieces.
     In 1900 Sherman was living at 3rd Avenue, Antigo, Langlade County, WisconsinG, in the household of his parents William and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Sherman Wade, aged four and born in Wisconsin.2
