Althea Gertrude Wade, daughter of William Edwin Wade and Mary Corbett, was born in WisconsinG in December 1891.1
     Althea was named in her great-grandfather Orsemus's will. She was to inherit his estate, after nineteen years, equally with Orsemus's other great-grandchildren, his grandchildren, and his nieces.
     In 1900 Althea was living at 3rd Avenue, Antigo, Langlade County, WisconsinG, in the household of her parents William and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Althea Wade, aged eight and born in Wisconsin.2
