Richard Royston Sackett, son of Leonard Samuel Sackett and Dorothy I Burgess, was born in Fulham, LondonG, on 19 March 1934.1,2 He died aged 64 in SurreyG in September 1998.3 He married in FulhamG in 1957, Dorothy C Pike.4
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Richard was a schoolboy living at 40 Lurgan Avenue, FulhamG, with his widowed mother.5
