Daphne Rosemary Sackett, daughter of Edward Leslie Sackett and Ethel Victoria Loten, was born in Brentford, MiddlesexG, on 3 May 1926.1,2 She died aged 65 in Southampton, HampshireG, in October 1991.3 She married in Wandsworth, LondonG, in 1948, Stanley F Brown.4
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Daphne was a schoolgirl, living at 34 Leyfield, Malden and Coombe municipal borough, SurreyG, with her parents.5
