Charles Compton-Bracebridge, son of John Edward Compton-Bracebridge and Annie Louisa Easton, was born in Marylebone, LondonG, in 18831 and baptized at All Saints Margaret Street, MaryleboneG, on 8 June 1883 by his grandfather Rev Berdmore Compton.2 He died aged 41 at 3 Knox Road, Havant, HampshireG, on 25 November 1924.3,4
In 1891 Charles was living at 42 Princes Gardens, Knightsbridge, LondonG, in the household of his widowed grandmother Annie Easton, and was recorded in the census as Charles C Bracebridge, aged seven and born in Marylebone.5
Administration of Charles's estate was granted in LondonG on 8 August 1925 to his father John. His estate was valued at £5,818. A further grant in the sum of £2,632 was made on 8 February 1956.6,7
