Charles S Sackett, son of Lucius Sackett and Emily C Sherman, was born in ConnecticutG in about 1857.1 He married in Seymour, New Haven County, ConnecticutG, on 1 February 1879, Sarah P Northrop.2
     In 1870 Charles was living in Oxford, New Haven County, ConnecticutG, in the household of his parents Lucius and Emily, and was recorded in the census as Charles S Sackett, aged 13 and born in Connecticut.3
     In 1880 he was living at Beacon Falls, New Haven CountyG, in the household of his parents Lucius and Emily, and was recorded as Charles Sackett, a worker in a brass mill, a widower, aged 23.4
