Justus Sacket, a farmer, son of Justus Sacket and Fanny Faxon, was born in Martinsburg, Lewis County, New York StateG, on 27 February 1819.1,2 He died aged 54 on 27 November 1873.1,2 He married first on 25 December 1851, Elizabeth R Craft, daughter of Job Craft and Ann Cox.3,2 Elizabeth was born on 29 October 1823.2 She died aged 31 on 19 January 1855.2 He married second on 29 December 1856, Melancy W Phelps, daughter of Corydon Phelps and Susan Phelps.4,2 Melancy was born on 22 March 18355,2 and died aged 38 on 3 December 1873.5,2
