Sackett Adams, son of Frederick Hogbin Adams and Emma Stark, was born in Monkton, KentG, in 18561 and baptized at St Mary Magdalene Church, MonktonG, on 13 July 1856.2,3 He died aged 27 in MonktonG,4 and was buried at St Mary Magdalene ChurchG on 15 January 1884.5 His grandfather, also Sackett Adams, was recorded as the "person responsible for the funeral". The elder Sackett Adams died a few months later.
     In 1861 Sackett was living in Sarre, KentG, in the household of his parents Frederick and Emma, and was recorded in the census as Sackett Adams, aged four and born in Monkton.6
     In 1871 he was living at the New Inn, Monkton Street, MonktonG, in the household of his parents Frederick and Emma, and was recorded as Sackett Adams, a scholar, aged 14 and born in Monkton.7
     In 1881 he was living at the New Inn, Main Road, MonktonG, in the household of his widowed mother Emma, and was recorded as Sackett Adams, aged 24 and born in Monkton.8
