John Hogbin, son of John Hogbin and Mary Ann Apps, was born in Herne Bay, KentG, in 18701,2 and died there aged nine in 1880.3
     In 1871 John was living at Victoria House, William Street, Herne BayG, in the household of his parents John and Mary Ann, and was recorded in the census as John Hogbin, aged five months and born in Herne.4
