Golden Noble Sackett, son of Samuel Arthur Sackett and Mary Peterson, was born in Brigham City, Box Elder County, UtahG, on 10 December 1897.1 He died aged 72 in Ventura County, CaliforniaG, on 13 January 19701,2 and was buried at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery, Ventura County, CaliforniaG.1 He married first in about 1918, Chloe Lorlean Walters.1,3 Chloe was born in Brigham City, Box Elder County, UtahG, on 11 September 1899.1 She died aged 88 in Grantsville, Tooele County, UtahG, on 28 November 19871 and was buried at Grantsville City CemeteryG.1 He married second in Ogden, Weber County, UtahG, on 20 July 1922, Emily Louise Freda Olsen, daughter of Rasmussen Olsen and Louise Benson.4 Emily was born in Brigham City, Box Elder County, UtahG, on 28 February 1901.1,5 She died aged 22 in Ogden, Weber County, UtahG, on 29 July 1923.1,5 He married third in Los Angeles County, CaliforniaG, on 5 December 1923, Viola Victoria Adam.1,5
In 1910 Golden was living in Box ElderG in the household of his parents Samuel and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Golden N Sackett, aged 12 and born in Utah.6
Golden completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was aged 20 and was employed as a laborer. He was living at Black Pine, Oneida County, IdahoG, with his wife Chloe.7 He subsequently served during the First World War as a private first class in Company D Utah 6 Engineers.
In 1920 he was living at Main Street, Box ElderG, and was recorded as Goldon M Sacket, a general laborer, head of household, married, aged 22 and born in Utah. His home was rented. Living with him were his wife Chloe, 20, and their son Layland A, aged three months.8
