Lucy Irene Thomas, daughter of John Henry Thomas and Anne Elizabeth "Annie" Sackett, was born in Romford, EssexG, in 1898.1 She married first at St Luke's Church, Kenora District, Ontario, CanadaG, on 15 June 1915, Emil William Tesnow, son of Fred Tesnow and Lena Reeddorff.2 Emil was born in Ellison Bay, WisconsinG, in about 1892.3 She married second ___ Hanley.
     Lucy emigrated to CanadaG in 1905 with her parents and siblings.4
     In 1911 Lucy was living in Zealand Township, Ontario, CanadaG, in the household of her parents John and Annie, and was recorded in the census as Lucy I Thomas, aged 13 and born in England.5
