Ann Eliza Sackett, daughter of Butler Sackett and Lois Todd, was born in ConnecticutG in about 1820.1,2 She married William Gorham.1 He went to California during the gold rush and died there.1
     In 1840 Ann was a dressmaker, living with her father at 42 Hancock Avenue, New Haven, ConnecticutG.3
     In 1860 Ann was living at New Haven, ConnecticutG, in the household of her brother Hobart Sackett, and was recorded in the census as Ann E Gorham, aged 40 and born in Connecticut. Their parents Butler and Lois were living with them.4
     In 1870 she was living in New HavenG in the household of her brother Hobart and sister-in-law Maggie, and was recorded as Ann E Gorham, aged 50.5
