Living with them were their children, Philip, 18, and Helen, 14, and Caroline's unmarried aunt Sarah Ann Sackett, 73.4
In 1901 she was living at Railway Station House, Sittingbourne, KentG, in the household of her husband Thomas, 54, station master, and was recorded as Caroline E Shephard, aged 51 and born in Dover.
