Floyd William Sackett, son of Harvey Orin Sackett and Minnie Adelaide Rice, was born in Hallstead, Susquehanna County, PennsylvaniaG, on 8 August 18971 and baptized at First Presbyterian Church, HallsteadG, on 2 July 1898.2 He died aged 70 in Lewes, Sussex County, DelawareG, in March 1968.1 He married at Great Bend, Susquehanna County, PennsylvaniaG, on 6 November 1919, Mary Fae Snow, daughter of John G Snow and Rita A Barrager.3
In 1900 Floyd was living at Chase Avenue, Great BendG, in the household of his parents Harvey and Minnie, and was recorded in the census as Floyd Sackett, aged two and born in Pennsylvania.4
In 1910 he was living in HallsteadG in the household of his parents Harvey and Minnie, and was recorded as Floyd Sackett, aged twelve.5
In 1930 Floyd was living at Susquehanna River Road, Great Bend, Susquehanna County, PennsylvaniaG, and was recorded in the census as Floyd W Sackett, a painter, head of household, aged 32 and born in Pennsylvania. He owned his home. Living with him were his wife Mary, 28, and their son George, aged six.6
