Isabel Sackett, daughter of Jeremiah Sackett and Dinah Farley, was born in Thanet, KentG, in 18491 and baptized at St Lawrence in Thanet, KentG, on 8 July 1849.2 She married in Pancras, MiddlesexG, in 1872, Granville Wilkins.3,4
In 1851 Isabel was living at Pegwell, St Lawrence in Thanet, KentG, in the household of her parents Jeremiah and Dinah, and was recorded in the census as I Sackett, aged two, and born in St Lawrence.5
In 1861 she was living at 1 George Place, Ramsgate, KentG, in the household of her widowed mother Dinah Sackett, and was recorded as Isabel Sackett, a scholar, aged 11, and born in St Lawrence.6
In 1881 she was living at 2 Park Villas, Datchet, BuckinghamshireG, in the household of her husband Granville, a retired stockbroker, aged 36, and was recorded as Isabel Wilkins, aged 31 and born in Ramsgate, Kent. Living with them were their children, Winifred (7), Frederick (5), and Kate (4), all born in Datchet. Also in the household were three female servants, a cook, parlourmaid, and a nurse.7
