Sackett Brooks Miles, son of George Frederick Miles and Margaret Reeve Sackett, was born in New York CityG on 22 October 1914.1,2 He died aged 87 on 28 September 20022,3 and was buried at Forest View Cemetery, Winsted, Litchfield County, ConnecticutG.4
     In 1920 Sackett was living at St Nicholas Avenue, ManhattanG, in the household of his parents George and Margaret, and was recorded in the census as Sackett Miles, aged five and born in New York.5
     Sackett Miles visited Europe in 1928, returning to New York City from Antwerp, BelgiumG, on 9 September 1928 on the SS Lapland. He went with his aunt Edith Sackett and his brother George.6
     In 1930 Sackett was living at Fifth Avenue, New York CityG, in the household of his parents George and Margaret, and was recorded in the census as Sackett Miles, aged 14 and born in New York.7
     Sackett completed a World War II draft registration card on 24 October 1940. He was aged 26 and was employed by Pulsifer Fisk and Scheyhind. He was living in Manhattan, New York CityG, with his wife Elizabeth but was out of the country at the date of registration.8
