Emily Josephine Sackett, daughter of Thompson Davidson Sackett and Rebecca Matilda Evans, was born in San Bernardino, CaliforniaG, on 3 August 1858.1 She died aged 42 in Norwalk, Los Angeles County, CaliforniaG, on 29 September 1900.1 She married in Los Angeles County, CaliforniaG, on 31 January 1875, Marcus George Settle, son of Marcus G Settle and Irena ___.1
     In 1870 Emily was living in Los Nietos, Los Angeles County, CaliforniaG, in the household of her parents Thomas and Rebecca, and was recorded in the census as Emily J Sackett, aged twelve and born in California.2
