Herbert Simmons Sackett, son of Henry Francis Sackett and Cora Inez Marston, was born in Osceola, Fond du Lac County, WisconsinG, on 30 December 1885.1 He died in Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac County, WisconsinG, on 25 January 1911. He married at Campbellsport, Fond du Lac County, WisconsinG, on 19 April 1907, Inez Loomis, daughter of Florian A Loomis and Hester Ernestine Adams.
     In 1900 Herbert was living in Ashford, Fond du Lac County, WisconsinG, in the household of his parents Henry and Cora, and was recorded in the census as Herbert S Sacket, aged 14 and born in Wisconsin.2
