Albert Knott, son of James Knott and Catherine Sarah "Kate" Sackett, was born in Margate, KentG, in about 1887.1
     In 1891 Albert was living at 34 Northumberland Road, Margate, KentG, in the household of his parents James and Kate, and was recorded in the census as Albert Knott, aged three and born in Margate.2
     In 1901 he was living at 72 Northumberland Road, MargateG, in the household of his parents James and Kate, and was recorded as Alfred Knott, aged 12 and born in Margate.3
