Blair B Sackett, son of Robert L Sackett and Sarah Anne Jackson, was born in PennsylvaniaG in March 1868.1 He died aged 69 at the Fairview Private Hospital, Bradford, McKean County, PennsylvaniaG, on 24 September 19372 and was buried at Salem, Jefferson County, PennsylvaniaG, on 26 September 1937.2 Blair had a son, Marvin Clifford, born in Clearfield County, PennsylvaniaG, on 20 June 1907 to Vera Viola Oshell. Vera subsequently married Sutton Berlin Williams and Marvin was brought up with the adoptive surname of Williams.3 Blair married in about 1914, Lola L Newman, daughter of Samuel H Newman and Ida M ___.1 Lola was born in PennsylvaniaG in about 1881.1 She died aged 91 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PennsylvaniaG, in December 1972.4
In 1870 Blair was living at Warriors Mark, Huntingdon County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents Robert and Sarah, and was recorded in the census as Blair B Sackett, aged two and born in Pennsylvania.5
In 1880 he was living at Front Street, Sligo, Clarion County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents Robert and Sarah, and was recorded as Blair B Sackett, aged twelve and born in Pennsylvania.6
In 1900 he was a patient at the State Hospital for the Insane, Conewango, Warren County, PennsylvaniaG, and was listed as Blair B Sackett, single, aged 32.7
Blair was listed in the 1909 Bradford City Directory. He was a laborer living at 194 High Street, BradfordG.8
Blair and Lola were listed in the 1913 Bradford City Directory. He was a laborer and they were living at 116 High Street, BradfordG.9
In 1920 he was living at 116 High Street, BradfordG, and was recorded as Blair Sacett [sic], a laborer in a carbon works, head of household, aged 45 [actually 51]. He owned his home free of mortgage. Living with him were his wife Lola, 38, and their son Oakley, aged four.10
In 1930 he was living at 116 High Street, BradfordG, and was recorded as Blair Sackett, a laborer in a lumber yard, head of household, aged 64. He owned his home. Living with him were his wife Lola, 48, and their son Oakley, aged 14.11
Blair died intestate. Letters of administration of his estate were granted in McKean County, PennsylvaniaG, on 24 January 1938 to his wife Lola.12
