Charles W Sackett, son of William Sackett and Elizabeth Talbot, was born in Roscoe, Goodhue County, MinnesotaG, in about 1862.1 He died aged about 32 in Merrick County, NebraskaG, on 16 August 1894.1
     In 1870 Charles was living in Bushnell, McDonough County, IllinoisG, in the household of his parents William and Elizabeth, and was recorded in the census as Charles W Sackett, aged eight and born in Minnesota.2
     In 1880 he was living in Clarksville, Merrick County, NebraskaG, in the household of his parents William and Elizabeth, and was recorded as Charles Sackett, a farm worker, aged 17.3
