William Sacket, son of Martin Sackett and Sarah Ann Hill, was born in Logan Township, Dearborn County, IndianaG, in October 1852.1 He died in 1930.2 He married in Dearborn CountyG on 11 March 1880, Emma Sefton.3 Emma was born in OhioG in May 18541 and died in 1942.2
In 1860 William was living in LoganG in the household of his parents Martin and Sarah, and was recorded in the census as William Sacket, aged seven and born in Indiana.4
In 1900 he was living in LoganG and was recorded as William Sackett, a day laborer, head of household, aged 47. His house was rented. Living with him were his wife Emma, 45, and their children, Delancy, 16, Sarah, 15, Theodore, 13, and Lawrence, aged ten.5
