Effie Louisa Sackett, daughter of Robert Nathaniel Sackett and Anetta Eva "Nettie" Hopkins, was born in Brookings, Brookings County, South DakotaG, on 21 September 1891.2 She died aged 81 in Rochester, Olmsted County, MinnesotaG, on 15 August 19733,4 and was buried at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Olmsted CountyG.5 She married Austin W Dobson.2
     In 1900 Effie was living at Pleasant Grove, Olmsted County, MinnesotaG, in the household of her parents Robert and Nettie, and was recorded in the census as Ellie L Sackett, at school, aged eight and born in Minnesota.6
