Jesse Lee Sackett, son of Homer Sackett and Helen Elliot, was born in PennsylvaniaG in November 1875.1 He died aged 51 of carbon monoxide poisoning at his workplace in Clarksburg, Harrison County, West VirginiaG,1 and was buried at the Masonic Cemetery, ClarksburgG, on 11 November 1926.1 He married Lovie Ellen ___.
In 1880 Jesse was living in Saegertown, Crawford County, PennsylvaniaG, with his parents Homer and Helen in the household of Homer's parents Harvey and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Jessie Sacket, aged five and born in Pennsylvania.2
Jesse completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was then aged 41 and was a gas pressure regulator at the Clarksburg Light & Heat Company. He was living at Timberlake Apartments, Clarksburg, Harrison County, West VirginiaG, with his wife Lovie.3
In 1920 he was living in ClarksburgG and was recorded as Jesse L Sackett, plumber at the Light & Heat Company, head of household, aged 40 [actually 44] and born in Pennsylvania. He rented his home. Living with him was his wife Lovie, 30.4
