James Allen Cooley MD, son of Augustine Sackett Cooley and Harriet Cornelia Reed, was born in Canandaigua, New York StateG, on 10 August 1885.1
     Dr James Cooley graduated MD from Cornell Medical College in 1908. He worked in the Lincoln Hospital, New York, and in the Sailors' Snug Hospital on Staten Island before entering practice in Brooklyn, NY.1
