Elsie Ruth Sackett, daughter of Edmund Samuel Sackett and Maude Elsa Overmann, was born at White Lake, Aurora County, South DakotaG, on 26 April 1916.1 She died aged 30 in Mitchell, Davison County, South DakotaG, on 9 October 19461,2 and was buried at Graceland Cemetery, MitchellG.4 She married in Alexandria, Hanson County, South DakotaG, on 6 December 1933, Harold Eugene Briggs.3 Harold was born in Corydon, Wayne County, IowaG, on 14 November 19131 and died aged 54 in Polk County, OregonG, on 17 July 1968.1
     In 1920 Elsie was living at White LakeG in the household of her parents Edmund and Maude, and was recorded in the census as Elsie Sackett, aged three and born in South Dakota.5
     In 1930 she was living at East 2nd Avenue, Mitchell, Davison County, South DakotaG, in the household of her parents Edmund and Maude, and was recorded as Elsie R Sackett, aged 13.6
