George Sackett, son of Christopher C Sackett and Annie Walls, was born in NebraskaG on 15 July 1886.1 He died aged 85 in Nixa, Christian County, MissouriG, on 20 December 19711 and was buried at Payne Cemetery, Christian CountyG.1 He married first in Christian CountyG in 1909, Pearl Blakey, daughter of W D Blakey and Lucinda Nelson.1 Pearl was born in MissouriG on 6 July 1888.1 She died aged 34 at Butterfield, Porter Township, Christian CountyG, on 8 May 19231 and was buried at Petterson Cemetery, Christian CountyG.1 He married second after 1923, Artie C Bennet, daughter of John E Bennet and Amanda O McCorkle. Artie was born on 20 September 1886.1 She died aged 78 on 22 June 19651 and was buried at Payne Cemetery, Christian CountyG.1
In 1920 George was living at Battlefield Road, Porter, Christian County, MissouriG, and was recorded in the census as George Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 33. He owned his farm on a mortgage. Living with him were his wife Pearl, 30, their children, Irene, 9, and Clifford, aged one, and George's widowed mother Anna, aged 65.2
