Edward George Sackett, son of George Edward Sackett and Katherine Annie "Kate" Cook, was born in Fulham, LondonG, on 2 April 19171,2 and died there aged 77 in January 1995.3 He married in FulhamG in 1938, Alice M Croxford.4,5
     In 1921 Edward was living at 26 Laundry Road, FulhamG, in the household of his parents George and Kate, and was recorded in the census as Edward George Sackett, aged four and born in Fulham.6
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Edward was a general labourer, living at 212 Munster Road, Fulham, LondonG.7
