Rosetta Sackett, daughter of Robert John Sackett and Maria Mayne, was born in Manor Park, EssexG, on 26 December 1911.1,2,3 She died aged 67 in Stepney, LondonG, in 1979.4 She married in West HamG in 1933, Alexander R Nye.5,6 Alexander was born on 27 February 1913.7
     In 1921 Rosetta was living at 115 Walton Road, Manor Park, EssexG, in the household of her parents Robert and Maria, and was recorded in the census as Rosetta Sackett, aged nine and born in Manor Park.8
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Alexander and Rosetta were living at 3 Colchester Avenue, East Ham, EssexG. He was a bricklayer.7
