Ellen Ruth "Nellie" Sackett, daughter of John Edward Sackett and Agnes Burnside, was born in Greenwich, LondonG, on 23 April 1907.1,2 She died aged 53 in Shoreditch, LondonG, in 1960.3 She married in Bethnal Green, LondonG, in 1930, William F Scola.4,5

In 1921 she was living at 93 Gelli Road, Ton Pentre, RhonddaG, in the household of her parents John and Agnes, and was recorded as Ellen Rh Sackett, aged 14.7
At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Nellie was living at Capel, Five Oak Green, Tudeley, Tonbridge Rural District, KentG. Her son William was living with her. The record of a third person in the household is closed.8
